Dr. Samuel Dotse (PhD) is a globally recognized leader in environmental governance, sustainable development, and climate diplomacy. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the HATOF Foundation, he has consistently driven initiatives that address critical environmental challenges and foster sustainable growth worldwide. His exceptional expertise and dedication have earned him numerous high-profile roles across national, regional, and global platforms. Dr. Dotse serves as the International Society of Diplomats’ African Special Envoy on Climate Change and Country Coordinator for the Climate Action Network-Ghana. He is a distinguished Technical Advisory Committee member for the Green Climate Fund under Ghana’s Ministry of Finance and a Board Member of the Stakeholder Advisory Network on Climate Finance in the United States.
Maryjane Enchill is a seasoned environmental and climate policy expert, currently serving as the Deputy CEO of the HATOF Foundation. She is also a Director and Board Member of the Global Youth Climate Action Fund and the Coordinator of the Climate Action Network-Ghana. With extensive experience in sustainable development, climate finance, and communication, she supports transformational change through capacity building, technical assistance, and policy advocacy. Maryjane has served as a consultant for state institutions, the banking sector, and UN agencies, offering expertise in facilitating and moderating high-level discussions on environmental and sustainability issues. Her work spans national and international platforms, where she speaks, moderates, and serves on juries and panels.
Benedicta Xorla Dzakah is a dedicated Project and Finance Manager with a strong background in business, finance, and international development. She is known for being proactive and solution-focused, using her skills to help NGOs achieve their goals. Her work mainly supports sustainable development, especially in building climate resilience and driving meaningful change. Benedicta is skilled at aligning financial plans with organizational objectives, managing resources efficiently, and delivering results even under pressure. She is experienced in budgeting, office management, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Josh Dotse is a renewable energy and sustainability professional with a strong academic and practical foundation. He holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani. His expertise spans renewable energy, carbon markets, and climate policy, with a focus on green building initiatives and carbon trading to support Ghana’s NDC targets.
Nyuiemedi Dzramado holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, with a focus on biodiversity, climate change, circular economy, and sustainable development. Her commitment to environmentalism drives her pursuit of technical capacity in environmental law, diplomacy, and multilateral processes. She earned a micro-credential from the GCLOE Leadership Program at the University at Buffalo, USA and currently co-coordinates the Ghana Youth Biodiversity Network and served as a campus ambassador for the 7th Edition of the Youth Model United Nations
Famous Kofi Banini joined HATOF in July 2024 as an intern. Having joined the organization, he is determined to contribute to projects aimed at environmental sustainability, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and capacity building for civil society organizations. With a background in Population & Health Science and extensive experience in youth leadership and project management, Famous is passionate about promoting sustainable development and advancing climate action initiatives in Ghana and beyond.
Sharon Dotse is a passionate environmental sustainability advocate with over eight years of experience in environmental education, governance, and climate projects. She has contributed to HATOF Foundation’s efforts in national policy development, capacity-building, and climate initiatives. Sharon's key achievements include supporting the planting of 1,100 tree species, supporting land degradation neutrality strategies, and participating in the Dust Bunny Project, which explores antimicrobial-resistant bacteria in household dust. She also played a pivotal role in the GCF CSO Readiness Programme, empowering Ghanaian CSOs to implement Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
